The popularity of digital cameras may have enjoyed amazing increase but film has still an important part to play in photography and will continue to be important for some time, a few years at the least. Film has many advantages that photographers continue to recognize. A photographer with a film budget amounting to thousands of dollars in one year may find digital camera more practical.
