When you move - When you move to a new location you will be able to keep the same satellite service and, if you desire, the same equipment. With cable, you will most likely have to switch cable providers unless your moving down the street.
Sports Channels - Satellite TV offers the option of NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL "season ticket" packages that allow you to see hundreds or thousands of your favorite games. Cable does not have this option available. Satellite also provides many Movie Packages and Spanish Packages.
